I’m an Athens-based software developer and data analyst with expertise in the spatial domain.
I’ve worked at disguise, developing software for the planning, management and display of live events as well as Roku on the user-interface of their smart-TV software. I also developed high-performance tools for analysing large city networks and running agent-based models for understanding buildings and small-scale urban environments at Space Syntax Ltd.
While I’m trained as an Architect (NTUA), I switched to software development after an MSc in Adaptive Architecture and Computation at University College London (2011 – 2012). Between 2015 and 2020 I worked to obtain a PhD from UCL examining the relationship between spatial configuration and human activity in office spaces.
You might still find me tutoring and answering technical questions at the MSc, especially those involving spatial analysis and agent-based modelling.
I’m also the current primary maintainer of depthmapX, an open-source spatial network analysis software.
